We use sponsors who generously support our program by purchasing ads. We ensure the ads are only non obtrusive text ads and we try to make them relevant to you so they are also useful to you.
Watch as the ads rotate and click on the advertise link. The link will explain how to put an ad on our program. After you place the ad, your ad will appear on the page you want to be on. We offer ads from Google, Clickbank, adBright, affiliate sensor, Bidvertiser, etc.
Your address book in outlook, Eudora, gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail, etc. PayPal history file, your messages in your inbox, news groups, etc. You can even purchase e-mails lists from a variety of sources (many are on our sponsor pages).
If you have a web site, insert some simple HTML code (see tutorial)
Sell anything on eBay and place in the ad, a link for your news letter!
Add opt-in link and message with a brochure or with warranty/product registration cards.
While networking with business associates or going to trade shows, ask everyone you meet if you can sign them up for your newsletter.
The number one faux pas in networking is trying to close a sale right after meeting someone new.
Instead of pushing your services, tell them about your newsletter.
It gives you great credibility and relieves them of the pressure of having to commit to anything now.
Contact your professional trade association for their member list. A few associations provide their member lists for free (if you're also a member), some associations
may charge a small fee for the list. Once you get the list, send the members an e-mail, offer them your free newsletter.
Recommend other good newsletters in your newsletter. This may sound counter intuitive, but your subscribers may enjoy another newsletter, they will remember you if they think it's
relevant to them and it's good.
Your subscribers might actually recommend your news letter to others, thus more new subscribers.
Include your newsletter info on PowerPoint slides. While you have captive attention, use that opportunity to
solicit more contact. Put your newsletter URL there. If it's also is your website address, so much better!
Develop a free guide people can download at your site. Offering high-value content on your site
is always a good thing. Write a press release about your free guide or report and send it trade magazines.
Give people the option of subscribing to your newsletter at the same time they download the guide.
Train every employee you have (obsessively): sales, customer service, marketing, programmers, engineers,
shop workers, administration staff, clerks, ie. everyone. They should all try to collect email addresses and permission at
every point of contact!

Place a "join our mailing list" link in the email signature of your regular e-mails and letters.
The link should go to your home page or the most appropriate page of your site where your signup tag is prominently displayed.

Include newsletter subscriptions in trade show lead generation forms. Obtain permission to send your monthly newsletter to booth visitors.
Yes! We have reports that we work well with HORDE, SquirrelMail, SmarterMail, @mail, NeoMail and I'm sure it will work with many others too.
Don't forget, we store all email addresses in plain text files.
